Circle T Winery & Vineyards

Circle T's vineyards have been farmed organically

since our initial plantings in Spring, 2007.

Organic Certification was awarded in January, 2013.

Our vines make an adventurous and often

challenging journey each year.

Join us in thanking them for doing so.

Some of our 2010 harvest leaves the vineyards.

The vines are hand-tended and the fruit picked the same way.

The vineyard to the right was planted on Pisgah Mountain in early 2007.  It is called 4J, after the four "J''s who worked the soil, built the irrigation system, assembled the trellises,

and planted most of the vines.

The vineyard to the left was cleared in late 2010.

Soil preparation began in 2011.

This work was limited to digging deep drainage channels for the vine rows, tilling the surface, and planting "green manure" in the form of Crimson Clover.

1600 Syrah and 400 Viognier went into the ground

in the Spring of 2012.
